You Can Draw!

Ages 18-adult. Learn how to draw using graphite pencils to show depth, line, shading, and composition.  This is a two-part class. Space is limited. Call or visit the library to sign up.

Walk on the wild side with Zoo Pro Adventures! Learn about interesting animals, what makes them special, and where they live. Meet and greet lots of furry and scaly friends.

Everyone will enjoy Jesseís highly skilled performance full of wonderful surprises and humor. He juggles! He rides a unicycle! He juggles while riding a unicycle! Itís a balancing act you have to see to believe.

Rhythms 'Round the World

Monday, July 20, 7:00 p.m.

Take a musical tour around the world and play along to a variety of dances and rhythmical styles performed with an array of familiar and exotic musical instruments.

 

Make a Flowerpot Note Holder

Friday, July 24, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Ages 11-18. Feeling craft-y? Find out how to make a cute note holder.

Ink It!

Ages 16 to adult.  Learn how to draw in pen & ink with Celeste Johnston, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts faculty member and "Arts in the Garden" instructor. This is a two-part class.  Next session is Saturday, Aug. 1. Space is limited.  Call or visit the library to sign up.

Charlotte's Web, presented by the Chesterfield Children's Theatre

Thursday, July 30, 7:00 p.m.

The Chesterfield Children's Theatre is back with their adaptation of the perennial favorite children's story - "Charlotte's Web."

You'll be on your feet dancing, clapping, and singing with Chris's blend of pop, folk and Americana music. Laugh yourself silly when he brings out Billy the Bird. It’s a treat for the whole family!

 

Beginning Watercolor
