Introduction to PamCat,
our Online Library Catalog
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT YOUR PASSWORD (PIN NUMBER): When signing on to PamCat (our online library catalog), all
Pamunkey library users start with the default password (PIN) CHANGEME.
We strongly recommend that you change your password as soon as possible to
something easy for you to remember.
Important: your
password must be 10 characters or less!
If you have forgotten your password (PIN),
please contact your local branch library and a staff member will reset it to CHANGEME. After changing your password, please log out of your account. Then
log back in using your new password (Note: You will not be able to change your
password (PIN number) if you have overdue books or late fines on your account).
These are new or improved
features with our iBistro catalog:
You may place a hold on an item by clicking on the "Place
Hold" link on the left side of the title details screen and following the instructions on the
following screens.
When you are in a branch library and want to place a hold, please see if
the item you want is available in that branch library.
By logging in with your Patron ID and Password, you can view information by selecting
My
Account. This allows you to do three different things:
Review My Account This screen shows a list of items you have have checked out as well
as items you have "Holds" on.
Change Password You can use this to change your current password.
Renew My Materials This screen allows you to renew items you currently have checked
out. Note: You can not renew material that is overdue and there
is a maximum of two renewals allowed per item.
