Zines & More

Magazines for teens are located at every branch library.  If you can't get to the library, why not check out these links to e-zines?
  • The Book of Zines: Readings from the fringe.
  • J-14: "The Number One celebrity magazine for teens!"
  • Shonen Jump: The most popular manga magazine in Japan is Weekly Shonen Jump, the birthplace of some of the greatest artists and stories. Weekly Shonen Jump sells approximately 3 million copies every week, to ages ranging from elementary school students to adults — in a country with half the population of the U.S.
  • TeenInk: Magazine, blogs, book series, and web site written entirely by teens. An excellent resource for teen writers and artists.
  • Native Youth Magazine:  Poetry, photos and profiles of young Native people across the United States and Canada.
