Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Pamunkey Regional Library! Our volunteers help us in many ways to provide high-quality service to the public, bringing value to the Library, our staff, our communities, and the volunteer.

Our volunteers supplement, extend, and enhance the services and activities of the Library and our staff. Volunteers are welcome to help in many facets of operations. Volunteers must agree to follow all Library policies and procedures, particularly those relating to confidentiality of library records. As a volunteer, you will be provided specific job assignments, a schedule, training, orientation, and recognition. See more details on our Volunteer Job Description.

Are you between the ages of 13-18 and looking for summer volunteer opportunities? Apply to be a summer teen volunteer with the Pamunkey Regional Library.

To apply to volunteer, fill out a PRL Volunteer Application Form (.doc) and return it to any branch library. Paper forms are also available at any branch library.

Want to assist with special events, such as book sales and other large one-time library events? Or do you have a group who wants to volunteer for a one-time event or special project? Email us at ask@pamunkeylibrary.org to see how we can help.
