Chat, email, and text assistance is available Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., excluding scheduled holiday closings. We can:
  • Provide short, factual answers to your brief questions.
  • Provide links to relevant and reliable sites.
  • Assist with the use and enjoyment of our Digital Library.
  • Suggest other sources when needed.

To chat with us online, look for the green "Ask a Question" speech bubble on each page of the website and click it to open a chat window. If a PRL staff member is not available, the speech bubble will say "Email Us."

Reference on Demand (ROD) offers you personalized, in-depth assistance with a Librarian during one hour sessions on topics like computer skills, resume and job search help, and library research skills for all ages.
